The INDEED Online Course is primarily designed for Entrepreneurship Educators in colleges and continuing VET comprising enterprise trainers, lecturers, business coaches, as well as, small businesses, encompassing early-stage entrepreneurs and established sole traders, micro and small enterprises.

The INDEED Course suits all mentoring digital levels especially those who are just beginning to engage in digital mentoring. The INDEED Course consolidates mentors’ skills and confidence to using mobile and digital learning resources and opens them up to the ability to recommend digital solutions to their clients. This is done by providing entrepreneurship educators with practical guidance on the different ways to communicate with their mentees through various digital platforms such as Word Press, Webinars and TED-Ed.

The digital platforms have been carefully chosen to present the Course to reinforce enterprise trainers, lecturers and business coaches digital learning experience and demonstrate how they can use these tools for their own digital mentoring. The INDEED Course includes five modules which comprehensively cover five key mentoring topics Communication, Collaboration, Project Planning, creativity, and Inclusion.

Module 5 Inclusivity

Learning Objectives

Take this module and you will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of diversity, in relation to the development, deployment, management, use and impact of digital tools
  • Become aware of the range of accessible digital tools that cater to diverse physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities
  • Understand the value of employing digital entrepreneurship training programmes for a variety of groups, such as migrants, women, youth etc.
  • Learn to implement training initiatives that include opportunities to build networks and gain access to business development service providers.
  • Learn to include clear targets, for different population groups, in strategies to ensure that lack of digital accessibility does not exclude people from future entrepreneurship.
